Read the article, sign the petition, do the damn thang!
Basically an 11 year old girl is experiencing victim-blaming by fellow Texans and even James C. McKinley (journalist who wrote the article for NY Times) after news broke about her being gang-raped. In his article McKinley perpetuated the belief that this girl had in some way brought this rape upon herself because she *gasp* hung out with boys? Dressed provocatively? You gotta be kiddin me!
